Vacation Tip #9:
A Local's Take on the Neptune Festival
The Neptune Festival is THE event that I wait for every year! It's something about the big turkey legs and the smell of cotton candy on the boardwalk that makes me wish I was 12 years old again!
There is LOADS of fun waiting for locals and tourists alike during the Neptune Festival weekend (September 28-30). Here's what you can expect to find:
FREE Concerts- Tented festival stages are located along 32 blocks of the oceanfront and visitors can enjoy free concerts all weekend long! Everything from beach music to rock 'n roll.
Sandsculpting Competition- It's amazing what people can do with sand, water and imagination. Check it out for yourself.
Arts & Craft Show- Over 250 artisans will line the boardwalk with paintings, photography, pottery and much more.
Tasty Treats- Indulge in the best of festival food, I do! Turkey legs, cotton candy, ice cream, barbeque, OH MY!
Who said summer ends on Labor Day? The Neptune Festival is an event not to be missed.
